Taber Area Man Charged in Weekend Collision

A Taber-area man is facing serious charges after a collision on Saturday.

A Taber-area man is facing serious charges after a collision on Saturday. Strathmore RCMP were called to the intersection of Highway 797 and Glenmore Trail in Langdon. When they arrived, they discovered one of the vehicles involved had fled the scene. Two suspects were located a short distance away and arrested. Mounties say the vehicle had been stolen out of Taber. 19 year old Bernhard Peters of Cranford has been charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving, assault with a weapon, failing to remain at the scene of a collision and possession of property obtained by crime.
