A compound in Pincher Creek was broken into in late October, while several trailers were broken into in Cowley last week. A number of ATVs and other items were stolen.
Pincher Creek RCMP asking for the public's help as they investigate two separate thefts in southern Alberta. Between October 27 and 31, a compound along Allison street in Pincher Creek was broken into. Police believe that several people entered by cutting through the fence at the rear of the property, and that the suspects arrived on a side by side ATV. Once inside they cut locks on numerous containers, stealing two Can Am Outlander ATVs as well as tools, numerous chainsaws, and other equipment. The quads were then driven out of town and have not been found. It's also believed that the same people broke into numerous containers in Pincher Station, and attempted to steal two motor bikes. The bikes were later recovered in a field. RCMP are also seeking any information relating to a break and enter to numerous trailers at the Cowley Boat Club. Between November 1 and 5, multiple unknown people cut the fence and entered the Cowley Boat Club grounds by using ATVs. Over 20 trailers were entered and numerous items including tools, TVs and clothing were taken. Police say the suspects used axes and pry bars to enter the trailers causing a significant amount of damage. If you have any information regarding these crimes, please contact your local police, Pincher Creek RCMP at 403-627-6010 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. - RCMP Pincher Creek Release
