There\'s been another adjournment in the case of a Fort Macleod teenager who\'s pleaded guilty to murdering his mother.

There's been another adjournment in the case of a Fort Macleod teenager who pleaded guilty to murdering his mother. The 18 year old boy made an appearance in Lethbridge Provincial Court Thursday, but his lawyer wasn't in attendance and the matter has been put over to September 14th. Back in May of last year the teen killed his 34 year old mother striking her with an axe and stabbing her several times, before throwing her down a flight of stairs. He pleaded guilty to second degree murder nearly a year ago, but the court is still trying to determine if he should be sentenced as a young offender or an adult and also under what type of supervision he should serve his sentence.
