The preliminary hearing for 33 year old Jentry Jack Salmon will finish up over two days in Lethbridge provincial court in early January 2018.
A preliminary hearing for a Raymond school teacher charged with sexual exploitation is lasting longer than expected. The inquiry for Jentry Jack Salmon was scheduled to last only two days this week, however because witness testimony is taking so long, more court time is needed. Police allege the 33 year old Salmon was having inappropriate interactions with a student via text messages and conduct outside of school. The hearing will determine if there's enough evidence to go to trial. Testimony is under a publication ban. The preliminary inquiry will resume briefly on October 24th and then adjourn to finish up for two days in the new year on January 8th and 11th. - Pat Siedlecki & Sam Borsato
