Lethbridge Police say a person was travelling west in the eastbound lanes when the vehicle they were driving crashed head-on with a semi Saturday night.
One person is facing charges of impaired driving following a crash on Highway 3 over the weekend.
Lethbridge Police had to shut down the eastbound lanes late Saturday night (Mar. 9) near the Oldman River bridge after a vehicle collided with a semi truck.
LPS say the driver was allegedly drunk and had been heading westbound in the wrong direction, crashing head-on with the semi. Luckily, there were no injuries.
That section of highway was closed down for a couple of hours while police dealt with the crash. The name of the person charged has not be released at this time.
