Pair Arrested, Charged With Drug Trafficking & Trespassing on Blood Reserve

A man from Edmonton and a woman from Cardston have been arrested, accused of trespassing and selling drugs on the Blood Reserve.

Two people have been arrested, accused of drug trafficking on the Blood Reserve.

 

On Wednesday, (Nov. 28), Blood Tribe Police Service executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Moses Lake.

 

Police have arrested and charged Dakota Laderoute of Edmonton and Leanne Ternes of Cardston, with trafficking in cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as proceeds of crime and trespassing under the Kainai Trespass Act.

 

Police seized 21 grams of Crack Cocaine, 3 grams of Methamphetamine, cell phones, as well as $830 in Canadian currency. Laderoute remains in custody & Ternes was released, both are scheduled to appear in Cardston Provincial Court December 3, 2018.
