Man Armed with Machete Steals Cash and Cigarettes from North Lethbridge Gas King

Lethbridge Police say a man walked into the gas station around 4am last Wednesday and demanded cash.

Lethbridge Police are investigating an armed robbery at a north side gas station.
It happened just before 4 o'clock last Wednesday morning at the Gas King along the 900 block of 5th avenue north. Police say a man, armed with a machete, walked into the store and demanded cash.
An undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes were provided and the suspect took off on a bicycle.

The man was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, grey or faded blue jeans, dark coloured shoes, dark glasses, a dark bandana with white markings covering his face and black gloves with a white skeleton design on the hands.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stopper at 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online at Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
