Living Donor Found for Taber Town Councillor in Need of Liver Transplant

A living donor has been found for Taber Town Councillor Jack Brewin,

Some great news out of Taber. A living donor has been found for Town Councillor Jack Brewin, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last year and is in need of a liver transplant. Friends and co-workers launched a Facebook page last month asking anyone between the ages of 18 and 55, who was willing, to get tested for compatibility. A man named "Andy" has since tested positive as a match. He will be donating part of his liver to Brewin next week. -Tina Giesbrecht
