Lethbridge Spray Parks Opening For the Season

Starting Friday, May 18th Lethbridge’s two outdoor spray parks, Rotary Centennial Fountain and Gyro Spray Park, will be open for use.

After a long winter, the opening of the City’s spray parks is a welcome sign of the warm summer months ahead. Starting Friday, May 18, Lethbridge’s two outdoor spray parks, Rotary Centennial Fountain and Gyro Spray Park, will be open for use.

Rotary Centennial Fountain which is located in the southeast corner of Galt Gardens and Gyro Spray Park, located behind Nicholas Sheran Arena will be turned on at 10:00 am Friday and are free of charge for all visitors.

New this year, residents can enjoy a special musical selection at the Rotary Centennial Fountain in recognition of the 100th Anniversary of the Lethbridge Rotary Clubs. Visitors will hear classic favourites from each decade spanning over the clubs 100 year history. Be sure to stop by and challenge your family and friends to a friendly game of “name that tune” as you listen to the music through the ages.

Both spray parks will remain open until the September long weekend, or as summer weather permits. Hours of operation are 10:00 am - 8:00 pm daily for the Gyro Spray Park, and 10 :00 am - 10:00 pm daily for the Rotary Centennial Fountain.
