Lethbridge Police Seize Shotgun, Ammunition and Drugs from Downtown Apartment

Police recovered a shotgun, ammunition, drugs and other weapons from the apartment.

Lethbridge Police saying they've taken a dangerous weapon off the streets after responding to a suspicious activity complaint at a downtown apartment building.
It happened on Friday at a unit along the 200 block of 2nd avenue south. Police say the tenant, who wasn't home when officers arrived, had been letting people come and go, stay over and sell drugs from the residence. A man and woman, who were inside at the time, also told police there was a firearm in the unit.
Officers seized a 12-gauge shotgun, nearly 100 rounds of ammunition, methamphetamine, carfentanil, eight knives, a battle axe and a large number of stolen credit cards.
Police are trying to locate the tenant and charges are pending.
