Lethbridge Police Make Arrest in Connection to Suspicious North Side Death

A man has been arrested by Lethbridge Police following a suspicious death at a north side home Monday. An autopsy is taking place in Calgary to determine how a 45 year old city resident died.

Lethbridge Police have made an arrest in connection with the suspicious death of a 45 year old man this week. Early Monday morning (Nov. 27)at approximately 7:20 am EMS responded to a report of an injured man inside a home along the 1200 block of 9 Avenue North. The man, identified as a 45 year old Lethbridge resident, was pronounced dead at the scene and police were contacted. Following further investigation a man was arrested later in the day and remains in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary. The name of the deceased will not be released at the request of his family. There is no further information to release at this time. An update will be provided when possible as the investigation progresses. - Pat Siedlecki
