Lethbridge Pair Accused of Selling Stolen Property Online

Police say a number of items, including a designer wool coat and high end gym clothes, were stolen from a west side vehicle last week and then posted for sale online.

Lethbridge Police charging two people this week for allegedly selling stolen property online.
 
Last Wednesday, officers received a report that a designer wool coat and high end gym clothes and shoes had been stolen from a vehicle parked along Peigan Court on the west side.
 
A week later, the rightful owner found some of the items listed for sale online and reported it to police. Arrangements were made to buy one of the items and when the seller met with police in a west side parking lot to complete the transaction, she was arrested.
 
A search warrant at a home recovered the wool coat and two pairs of pants.
 
27 year old Chloe Petek and 27 year old Brandon Gaudry, both of Lethbridge, have been charge with possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking.
