Lethbridge Man Gets Jail Time For Assaulting Elderly Man in Taber

22 year old Heinrich Froese will spend three and a half months behind bars for being part of a violent assault in Taber last summer.

A Lethbridge man pleading guilty earlier this week to assaulting an elderly man in Taber.

22 year old Heinrich Froese and 28 year old Stacey Carlson, both from Lethbridge, were arrested last July after Taber Police say they broke into an elderly man's home, violently assaulted and then robbed him.

Froese pleaded guilty to a single charge of assault on Tuesday (Apr. 16) and was sentenced to spend the next three and a half months in jail.

Carlson pleaded guilty in March to break and enter and aggravated assault charges. She'll spend the next four years behind bars for those offences.
