Lethbridge Man Facing Charges After Alleged Drug Activity in Galt Gardens

Lethbridge Police have charged a man with drug trafficking offences and possession of a stolen vehicle after a member of the Downtown Policing Unit disrupted a drug transaction.

A Lethbridge man is facing charges after allegedly dealing drugs in Galt Gardens. Last Saturday, a member of the Downtown Policing Unit was on bike patrol when he noticed drug trafficking activity near the pergola. A man was arrested and while he was being searched police found a bottle of methamphetamine, 15 pre-packaged baggies of meth, cash and two cell phones. Officers say the suspect was also driving a van stolen out of Calgary which contained 21 high-powered rifle rounds and 19 shotgun shells. 51 year old Jalil Ali Bahrami has has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking among other offences.
