The civic election is six weeks away and Lethbridge City Council has already started to wind down it's activities. There are three more council meetings scheduled before the election on October 18th and Mayor Bob Tarleck says the agendas will be lighter than usual. He tells CJOC News he doesn't expect any blockbuster items to be dealt with over the next few meetings. Tarleck notes it's just a matter of cleaning up items still on the table as most of the attention is starting to shift toward the upcoming election. City Council meets twice this month and one more time on October 12th before the civic election.
