A long-time Lethbridge Alderman has decided it's time to step aside from her duties on City Council. Barbara Lacey tells CJOC News that after five terms on Council, she will not be running in October's civic election. She says she been on Council for 15 years and now it's time to get some more flexibility back in her life. Lacey says she's very grateful to the residents of Lethbridge and feels a lot has been acheived during her tie on Council. She also says she's encourgaed by the quality and number of people running in this upcoming election. Lacey made her decision not run several months ago, but officially announced it Wednesday.
