The University of Lethbridge is holding its annual Chancellor's Dinner later this month and this year it will be of special significance.
It will be the first official event for Charles Weaselhead, the U of L’s first-ever Indigenous chancellor.
Weaselhead’s historic appointment by the U of L Senate took place a few weeks ago. He will officially be installed into that position on May 30th during the University's Spring Convocation.
Among those who will be celebrated are the winners of the University of Lethbridge Volunteer Award, the recipient of the Speaker Research Award, the Distinguished Teaching Award recipient, the President’s Award for Service Excellence winners, honorary degree recipients and student medal winners from across the University.
