Fire at Northside Home Causes $50,000 in Damage

When firefighters arrived, smoke was coming from both attic vents, and the windows on all sides were darkened with melted blind.

 Lethbridge firefighters are investigating a residential fire that happened Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 22). The blaze broke out in the 300 block of 12 Street North at approximately 4:00 p.m. When firefighters arrived, smoke was coming from both attic vents, and the windows on all sides were darkened with melted blinds. However, there were no visible flames. Firefighters from two stations responded and contained the blaze. There were no injuries and damage is estimated at $50,000. -Sam Borsato
