CJOC Wins Award For Supporting the Arts in Lethbridge

CJOC has been given an award by the Allied Arts Council.

CJOC has been given an award by the Allied Arts Council.  Our radio station received the honour at the 4th annual Mayor's Luncheon Thursday for helping enhance the arts in Lethbridge. CJOC General Manager Casey Wilson says it's a real honour to receive this award. He says supporting the arts in Lethbridge was a big committment of CJOC when the station first launched just over three years ago. The Mayor's Luncheon for Business and the Arts celebrates partnerships between artistic, civic, and business communities.  A large crowd packed into a banquet room at the Lethbridge Lodge for the event.  Other award recipients include: 

*  AACE Award, Individual: Carol Roberts Volunteer  New West Theatre
