Lethbridge residents are invited to help refine the community’s long-term vision for the Civic Common, a four-square-block area downtown.

The City of Lethbridge looking for feedback on the draft master plan for the future Civic Common.

The area covers four-square-blocks, which includes land occupied by City Hall, the Civic Ice Centre as well as the Civic Field, the Yates Theatre, Fritz Sick Centre, the old Courthouse, and Lethbridge RCMP detachment.

Downtown Revitalization Manager, Andrew Malcolm, says feedback from initial engagement activity earlier this year has been helpful. He says the project team is now seeking community feedback on the draft master plan and encourages residents to review the draft, full or short version, prior to completing a brief online questionnaire. The questionnaire will be open to the public until August 10th at: Civic Common Questionnaire.

The project timeline has been extended by a few months, and a final master plan is now expected to be ready for presentation to City Council for adoption in October this year.
