Christmas Arrives at Lethbridge City Hall

Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman throws the switch to light the 2018 Christmas Tree at City Hall

With little fanfare, Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman turned on the lights Monday (Nov.26) morning on the Christmas tree at City Hall.

The inside of Lethbridge City Hall is all decked out for the Christmas season.

Staff one again volunteered their time to decorate the foyer and over the next few weeks, they'll be collecting donations of gifts, and food for different community organizations.

Mayor Chris Spearman says the real spirit of the season is making sure everyone in Lethbridge has a wonderful Christmas.

This year, donations of unwrapped toys and gifts for kids and youth ages 17 and under as well as non-perishable food items will be collected for the Christmas Hope Campaign.

There will also be noon hour musical performances at City Hall leading up to Christmas. You can find more information on the Sounds of the Season concert series on the City's website.
