Southern Alberta's United Conservative MLA's have all gotten critic portfolios under new leader Jason Kenney.

Southern Alberta's United Conservative MLA's have all gotten critic portfolios under new leader Jason Kenney. Little Bow MLA Dave Schneider has been handed the Forestry portfolio, Livingstone-Macleod MLA Pat Stier will be the Municipal Affairs critic, Cardston-Taber-Warner MLA Grant Hunter is the new Labour critic and Cypress-Medicine Hat MLA Drew Barns will tackle the Finance and Treasury Board portfolio. Kenney announced his choices Tuesday saying the critics will hold the Notley NDP Government to account and stand up for Albertans under attack from Trudeau's Liberals in Ottawa. Former conservative caucus member, Strathmore-Brooks MLA Derek Fildebrandt, is currently sitting as an Independent.  -Tina Giesbrecht
