Accused Testifies, Closing Arguments Made as Sex Assault Trial Come to an End

Trevor Pritchard, 35

A Coaldale man, who is accused of sexual assault, child luring and child porn offences, denies that he ever talked to the alleged victims online or concealed his identity.

Trevor Pritchard, 35, took the stand for a second day on Thursday (Nov. 28) as the Crown wrapped up its cross examination.
When shown photo and message records from the Trevor Pritchard and Phillip Fieldcamper Facebook accounts, Pritchard testified that the Fieldcamper account isn't his, he never had graphic sexual conversations with young girls on either account and that he never asked for or received explicit photos from those young girls.
The Crown pointed out messages that were similar between both the Fieldcamper and Pritchard accounts, as well as explicit photos saved to his personal laptop that matched ones from Facebook. He again denied his involvement.
Two alleged victims also testified last week. One of the teenage girls says Pritchard asked her for nude photos over Facebook and another young girl testified that she had sex with Pritchard several times.
Both the Crown and Defence have now made their closing arguments and Pritchard is expected back in court December 10.
